COVID-19 Testing for Everyone
Due to COVID-19 and all the unknowns, we are proud to say we have been an urgent care for those in our community.
We are currently offering PCR and Rapid COVID-19 testing for everyone in our community.
Protecting our Community
In addition to COVID testing, we also offer the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine in our office every Friday to those who wish to be vaccinated.
Monoclonal Antibodies
The immune system is able to recognize and react to the COVID-19 virus more quickly and efficiently thanks to monoclonal antibodies. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the use of monoclonal antibodies in treating adult and pediatric patients (12 years of age and older) who have COVID-19 and are at a high risk of developing the disease to the point of severe illness, hospitalization, or death. Among clinical trials, this medication reduced the risk of hospitalization and mortality by 70% and the risk of developing COVID-19 by 82% among patients who had been exposed to the virus via household members.
Monoclonal antibodies have emerged as a significant advancement in the fight against COVID-19. These laboratory-produced proteins are designed to mimic the immune system’s ability to recognize and neutralize the virus. Monoclonal antibodies target specific structures on the SARS-CoV-2 virus, preventing it from entering and infecting human cells. They offer a promising therapeutic option, particularly for individuals at high risk of severe illness. By reducing viral load and mitigating symptoms, monoclonal antibodies can potentially shorten the duration and severity of COVID-19.

Defeating COVID-19
In efforts to control the ongoing pandemic, our office is proudly administering COVID-19 monoclonal antibody infusions for those who contract the COVID-19 virus. An individual must have proof of a recent positive test result as well as meet the CDC high-risk criteria.
We are currently administering Sotrovimab, which has been studied as the most effective against the omicron variant. We also are excited to say we are administering EvuSheld, an antibody injection to help prevent the contraction of COVID-19 for those at high risk. We gladly accept outside patients for this injection with a valid prescription.
If there are any questions regarding the antibody infusions or injections, please give our office a call for more information.
